Chapter Title: Fire On The Mountain

Flame not Smoke
We had another meeting and I was explaining to the other kids that this is an island and that it was uninhabited. Also about how there are pigs on the island and that we need hunters to get our meat. So I explained that we needed rules like whoever raises there hands and gets chosen holds the conch so that they can speak.
Then out of nowhere an argument of how nobody knows where we are started because our plane was shot down into flames. I started talking to them that we might be here for a long time and that we should enjoy our time while there are no other adults. But we don't want to stay here forever. So we make this idea to make smoke on top of the mountain so that if theres a passing boat they can see and rescue all of us. Then I was asking if anyone found anything and these little kids forced this other little kid to tell me about “The Beastie” and how it was like a snake and it would come back tonight. Then another huge argument broke out on how theres a beastie on the island.
So anyway I start talking about how we should make a fire and suddenly Jack speaks up without having the conch and says to follow him to everyone. I was induced to follow because I wanted to see what they would do. I couldn't believe how errant they are. They don't even have the conch. Then they just start to collect wood and pile them up. Those kids were very officious. So then I start thinking on how were going to light them up so I ask if there are any matches. No one. So we spotted Piggy's glasses and pinched it. Then he gets really angry and makes his voice load of recrimination. Then smoke appeared in the wood so I knelt down and started to blow on the smoke and a tiny flame appeared. Then the wind picked up and a bigger flame came up. Then it was no good because there was no smoke. Only flame.
